Meeting the art
According to our foundation’s motto, it’s never too late in life for three things: love, learning and making your dreams come true. Therefore for art lovers of the Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku, curious participants, representatives of Klub Seniora, leaders of Przeźmierowo and Baranowo, and association of disabled individuals “Roktar”, we prepared a meeting with a great painter – Beata Pflanz. Beata accepted our invitation, and on April 28th she appeared personally in V.A. Gallery in Wysogotowo, where, thanks to kindness of Marta and Violetta Kowalczyk, we could admire the “Arteldy” – the exhibition of our guest – an interdisciplinary artist, abstractionist, and writer; who presented her works in New York, Madrid, and Basel; a woman who visualized her dreams in a project called “I live in my painting”.
The exhibition was energetic and amazing. The paintings not only hanged by flew around, and appearing pictures of her house were inspiring. Beata showed that even after 40 it’s worth to fulfil your dreams, and after 50 still have satisfaction from achieving them. It’s never too late to learn something new. We like it, and support it ☺ Some may ask where’s the love in this. Well... Beata’s husband knowing that she likes to paint bought her a scaffolding for her birthday :):):)
When you decide to present gift to someone, choose something important for this person, not for you.
P.S. Beata agreed to take part in our project “Paint your world”, which is aimed at disabled people. More information will follow soon.
